Although I personally had nothing to do with it - our publisher just announced yet another first person shooter for the XBox and the PC - Warpath.

It was developed in tandem by our old Digital Extremes Toronto team and BrainBox games - the budget division of DE. Although labelled under the DE name, Warpath is a budget title; and therefore will be priced as such. (Even though it doesn't look like a budget title - check out the screenshots)
The single game has a bit of a board-game-esque feel to it; you move around in different parts of the map taking over territories by fighting team battles in first person across three factions.
The XBox demo will be available next issue of the official XBox magazine - and I believe the game itself will be released sometime in March or April.

As far as I understand it, sorta like a Toys for bob - however the battles are solely against bots. Beating different areas will allow you to unlock different weapons, modifiers, etc.
